MAKE-UP APPOINTMENT PREPARATION

Please allow 1 hour and 30 minutes for a standard make-up appointment. 2 hours for bridal make-up trials.

Please cleanse, exfoliate and moisturise the night before your appointment. This will help the make-up apply much better and last longer.

Please do not wear any makeup to your appointment, having to remove your makeup will cut into the application time.

Drink lots of water during the week of your appointment to keep your skin hydrated, this will reduce the appearance of fine lines and improve your complexion resulting in a much better make-up application.

I recommend removing any excess facial hair (peach fuzz, lip, chin or stray brow hair) as complexion products tend to enhance the appearance of facial hair. Please do not wax within the week of your appointment as the make-up will look noticably patchy in the areas that have been waxed. Plucking, threading or dermaplaning a couple of days before your appointment is advised.

Avoid trying new products during the week of your appointment to avoid any unexpected breakouts/skin reactions.

Do not pick any blemishes during the week of your appointment, especially on the day as they will not cover with foundation due to the oils they produce.

Apply lip balm throughout the week to avoid dry lips, if your lips are severely dry, cracked or flakey try using a lip scrub during the week of your appointment.

Please wear clothes you don’t want makeup on as powder-based products tend to have fall out. If you’re wanting a glowy décolletage then opt for a low-cut top.

Please send me any inspiration, reference photos or specific requests prior to your appointment so we can jump straight into the application and not waste your valuable appointment time.

I need to know if you have any skin concerns, allergies or if you are sensitive to any products or ingredients to ensure I select the right products for your skin.

You must inform me if you develop any flu-like symptoms, contagious infections or conditions such as cold sores, rashes or conjunctivitis. If you arrive at your appointment with any of these conditions you will be turned away.

If you wear contact lenses, please put your lenses in prior to your appointment to avoid cutting into the make-up application time. Also, putting them in after the make-up application can encorage your eyes to water.

If you do not show up to your appointment and fail to contact me you will be blocked from booking with me in the future.

If you arrive any more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, I will not have enough time to complete the service and your appointment will be cancelled.

I accept cash and card, however if you are paying the outstanding balance via bank transfer then please pay prior to coming in, this will save time at the end of the service.

Please only use your phone during the service if it is an emergency, if you continuously go on your phone this delays the service and causes me to fall behind on the day.

Following my advice/recommendations will ensure you get the most out of your appointment and look and feel your best 🤎

Thank you for your cooperation, I look forward to seeing you at your appointment.
