Sheer Lip Blush

A soft tint of colour is implanted into the lips using a digital machine, creating a natural wash of definition. This technique redefines the lip border, restores colour where it has naturally faded, helps to correct asymmetry, and enhances the overall shape of the lips. Colours are tailored to complement your natural lip tone, with the option to draw inspiration from your favourite lip products. The pigment is layered gradually, allowing for precise control over the intensity and blending.

HD Lip Blush

HD Lip Blush involves the full saturation of colour implanted into the lips using a digital machine, creating a high-definition, long-lasting result. This technique delivers a ‘lipstick’ effect with a more defined border while maintaining a soft, beautiful finish. The pigment is layered to achieve rich, even coverage, and colours can be customised to perfectly match your favourite lipstick or lip pencil, offering a polished, flawless look that lasts.

Who is Lip Blush For?

  • Individuals with pale or unevenly pigmented lips.

  • Those who want to enhance their natural lip shape and colour.

  • Individuals with minor asymmetry or fading lip borders.

  • Those who want fuller lips without undergoing injectable treatments.

  • Those who want to conceal scars from past injuries or cold sores.

  • Anyone tired of constantly reapplying lip products throughout the day.

  • Consultation: Before booking, we’ll discuss your desired lip shape, colour, and overall look. I’ll explain the process, answer your questions, and create a mockup to visualise the result.

On the Day: The area is cleaned and anaesthetic is applied for around 15-20 minutes. I’ll then carefully draw the agreed design, we will not proceed until you are completely satisfied with the final pre-draw. Once approved, I will implant the pigment using a digital machine. You may feel a slight vibration or scratching sensation initially, but this will subside after the application of a secondary anesthetic. For your first session, I always opt for a more conservative shape and colour, we can always add more at your re-touch.

Healing: The area may be slightly swollen, tender and appear darker at first, but will soften within a few days. Follow aftercare instructions for optimal healing, which typically takes about 7-10 days.

Follow-Up: A follow-up appointment will be scheduled 6-8 weeks after your initial session to assess the healed results and make any necessary adjustments. During this session, we can refine the shape or deepen the colour if desired.

  • Each PMU procedure is a gradual process that involves two sessions (in rare cases three) to achieve the full desired look, so patience is key. This is perfectly normal and is influenced by factors like your skin type, body chemistry, lifestyle, and how well you follow aftercare instructions. Even if the pigment appears to have held up well after your first session, it's important to schedule a retouch to help maintain and extend the results.

What does the retouch involve? During the retouch, I may need to fill in any areas where the pigment didn’t fully retain or touch up other spots that changed during the healing process. We can also reassess and refine the shape and colour to ensure you’re happy with the final outcome. Often, small adjustments are needed to achieve the best results. I offer a complimentary retouch for new treatments, which must be taken within 6-8 weeks of your initial appointment.

  • Longevity is influenced by factors such as lifestyle, skin type, medications, environmental conditions, skincare and aftercare. Generally your lips will need a top up around 9-18 months to keep them fresh.

  • The lips will appear as though lipstick or gloss has been applied, with the colour's intensity determined by the shade chosen. There may be slight swelling as the skin has been gently abraded, but this will subside over the next few days. Full aftercare instructions will be provided upon completion of the treatment and verbally explained to ensure proper healing.

  • Dermal filler and lip tattooing complement each other beautifully. Lip filler adds volume and plumpness to the lips, while lip blush enhances colour and definition. However, it's important to allow a 4-week healing period between receiving lip filler and your lip tattoo to ensure optimal results and proper healing.

  • Everyone has a different level of sensitivity, some people find the procedure to be relatively painless while others may find it more uncomfortable. A topical anaesthetic is applied before and a secondary anasthetic is used during the procedure to alleviate any sensation or discomfort.
