SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL AFTERCARE

It is critical to follow all aftercare instructions to prevent infection and/or scarring and to achieve best results. Please read carefully.

  1. Refrain from wetting, touching or applying product of any kind to the treated area within 24 hours after procedure. Fluid (lymph) will typically ooze from the treated area so use a dry tissue or cotton pad to blot it away.

  2. The treated area is now very dry, and a light scab will have formed. You may clean the area by blotting with saline solution twice a day using a cotton pad. Typically the scabbing can last up to 14 days depending on aftercare and skin. The longer the scab stays, the better the result.

  3. You must avoid the following until all scabbing has naturally fallen away and the area is fully healed, the area must be as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off; heavy exercise, swimming, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, spraying shower directly on your face. Make-up, balms/ointments, skincare (within 2cm of treatment area). Threading, waxing, laser, facials, chemical peels or other similar facial treatments.

  4. Once the scabbing process is complete, you may begin applying a high-quality Vitamin E oil twice daily for a minimum of 4 weeks. This will reduce the risk of scarring or discoloration. Do not start applying the Vitamin E oil until all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off.

  5. SALINE REMOVAL IS A PROCESS. Desirable results take an average of 2-5 sessions depending on the depth and pigment of the unwanted tattoo among other factors. 8 weeks of healing must take place before another removal session can be done.
